You Can Help
Make a Donation

At Sam’s House, your donation will go a long, long way.  It costs just $2,000 to support one child for an entire year.  That includes food, clothes, shelter, books, toys, tuition, and plenty of love from brothers and sisters.

Even the smallest amount can make a large difference in the life of a Sam’s House child.  One dollar can provide food for two days.  Five dollars buys a set of clothes.  Ten dollars covers a month’s tuition including books and pencils.

You can mail your donation to the address on the Contact Us page, or click the button below to make a gift on-line.

Volunteer

Of course, the best way to learn about Sam’s House is by spending time with the children and volunteers in Pokhara.

Imagine your day:  Wake in the morning and help the didis prepare breakfast.  Assist the children through the morning routine.  See the children off to school.  Come back and play games with the younger children.  Work in the garden until lunch.  Explore Pokhara in the afternoon.  Walk children home from school.  Help them with their chores and studies until dinner.  Tuck them in for bed and retire yourself until the next day.

Sam’s House features a two-person guest room for volunteers.  Please contact us to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
