Third Annual Morris Yard Sale

In what's becoming a Morris tradition, the third annual Morris yard sale to benefit Sam's House goes off Saturday, April 12 at 9a, rain or shine (or in this case, snow or shine).

This year's edition includes several big ticket items (Nordic track, televisions, deep freezer, and cross-country skis) in addition to several baker's dozens of home made baked goods, freshly imported from Red Wing, Minnesota.

Stop by for some good deals and rare finds, or just to socialize.  The sale ends at 5pm.

All proceeds to benefit Sam's House.

A Full House at Sam's House

Since opening in March 2007, Sam's House has taken in 20 orphaned and abandoned children

We have four wonderful house sisters (didis) and one tutor who look after the children and make sure all their needs are met, that they have everything they need to feel safe and secure and loved.

There are, however, many children still needing a home in Nepal.  In the coming years, we will turn our attention to raising funds to buy land and build family-style homes that can accommodate up to 60 children.

Thanks to all our generous supporters, we are confident that together we can accomplish all our goals and help even more children.
